Charleston Landing
Architectural Review Committee Information
Welcome to Charleston Landing!

We are a unique residential community located on the South Carolina coast. Great care has been taken in the planning, design and development of Charleston Landing to ensure aesthetic harmony. Designed with the classic elegance of a Charlestonian Architectural Vernacular, our community is reminiscent of the American South. The character ofCharleston Landing does not afford the opportunity for a wide variation of architectural expression. Simplicity of form, drawn from historic and traditional examples, is the best way to achieve this low country feel. This strong tie to a historical perspective lends itself to an underlying theme that will compliment and conjure images of an earlier and slower paced time. As you begin planning for your new home a prerequisite to starting the formal review process is to coordinate a “pre-design” meeting, become familiar with the ARC Guidelines, Master Declaration, Covenants and Restrictions
and the By-Laws of Charleston Landing. You should have in attendance at your pre-design meeting, your architect, contractor and an ARC representative. These consultants will be able to provide the expertise needed to clarify any applicable restrictions such as setbacks, OCRM critical lines, easements, grading requirements, drainage issues, height restrictions, lot coverage, and/or protection of trees, etc. This also allows you, the home/lot owner, to determine the style of home that will fit on your lot while adhering to the published guidelines. This meeting should alleviate any conflicts between the design process and the ARC Guidelines. Contact the Architectural Review Committee at charlestonlandingarc@gmail.com to schedule this meeting.

Would anyone be willing to volunteer to install a solar panel light for the gazebo at the end of the pond near the Amenity Center. We have purchased the light and just need it installed. Small projects can save our HOA money on labor charges. If any of our Handymen are interested contact a board member to schedule.

Thank You,
CL HOA Board

Thanks Al and Jeff!

Thanks to Alan Stubbs and assistance from Jeff Beshears to get the solar light at the pier near the Amenity Center installed. It really looks good and does a great job lighting the area not to mention the cost savings. The BOD is grateful for your assistance.
